An ongoing battle I suppose. Our bodies remember the days gone by and react accordingly. Stinks. Yes, you are a special flake.

Since your RDI is 2600 cals, reduce it to 2500, then if you are only maintaining your weight reduce it again to 2400 cals per day. Experiment a little and you'll see what works for you.

Trust me. You are "special"..... LOL!!!

Trust you, Rocker... to be you I mean. Snezica. That's a pretty reasonable suggestion. I'm not sure I have it in me. :D Kidding. That's the approach I'll take. Maybe straight to 2400 though. That's only an 8% reduction. I have no desire to hurry to a given weight. I'd like to stay about where I am. 170 still gives me an ab outline. I like being lean. Lots of energy.

Just a little tweak should do it. I know you don'[t want to go back where you came from.

you expected .... what? Try not to disappoint. Got a reputation to uphold you know.

Don't forget that 1 lb. of muscle takes up less space than 1 lb. of fat. Your body fat % could be less while the scale reads the same.

Calipers are still saying 13% body fat. Hardly tragic. I'll see what my weigh in is tomorrow. My plan was to wait until 15% but that's another 3.5 pounds. I was 13% at 166 a month ago. I think though there's some water involved. I doubt I've put on 4 pounds muscle in a month. Like... yeah. Not happening.

LOL re special snowflake. This makes it official. You're officially back to normal. Welcome back to the land of the normal calorie count. P.S. 13%? Oh poor you! I'd kill for anything in the 20s!!

And the guys moan when we whine. Boo hoo, 13%.

You have your prerogatives - we have ours. My wife always says she'd rather be sick herself than have me sick. Too much whining she says. Blah, blah, blah. :D

Men do seem to whine....:)))

And what is it with you guys not leaving the seat up?
24 Aug 14 by member: northernmusician
Kidding, right??? Walk in there at night and sit down with the lid up. Ouch and it's a long drop.

I lived in a household of 7 men - 6 sons plus GoodMan...GM used to tell me it was only logical...I should have to put the seat up since there were more of them!
