I am disappointed in my weigh in but not surprised I have done a lot of emotional eating the last week and have been stressed and not making the best food choices this next week will be better. I just have to remember that to take care of my son I first have to take care of myself and my diet and weightloss journey is a big way of taking care of myself. TOday is a new day and I will honor myself by eating right and logging my food and doing my yoga routine this will strenghthen me to take the best care of my family that I can. Im not perfect but I will do what I am able to do
380.0 lb Lost so far: 1.0 lb.    Still to go: 210.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Hi Kimmy! I'm glad you've recognized the bad "emotional eating" habit. I do the same thing! Like you, my big priority is taking care of myself so that I can BE THERE for my daughter (14 months) for many years in the future. Just remember that it is what you eat consistently over time that will allow you to lose weight. I read the book "Intuitive Eating" by Evelyn Tribole and it helped immensely. Don't be disappointed about your weigh in - that's just another way of putting yourself down. You are a wonderful, loving person and deserving of respect and love - not just from others, but from yourself as well. Stay happy!

Put on your RN cap and work your program. You can do it, treat yourself like you would treat your patients. You treat them with LOVE, now it's time to love yourself. Kick "DISAPPOINTMENT" to the curb, and pick up "DETERMINATION." We here at Fatsecret, will try and help you stay focused, but you have to dig deep within yourself and fight for your vision. Believing you can do it is only half the battle. getting started is the other half. We are all in the same boat and we are all here to encourage each other.
