Deb_N's Journal, 12 August 2014

Every time I want to write a journal, I have so many things to say but don't know what should be the most important and save the rest for another day. I have been having problems with conversion of ounces, teaspoons, tablespoons, cups, etc. I found a chart that is helping me. If the link is cut off, just click on my journal and copy it. foodgeeks.com/resources/conversion_charts

Deb - it's YOUR journal, not CNN. Write whatever you want :-) I want to find the link again that broke it down to measuring on the body like.. your thumb is a tablespoon... things like that... still looking.

I have a refrigerator magnet chart that gas equivalents on it, comes in handy. Deb, most of what I put in my journals is for me, it's public because if someone wants to comment the feedback is good. I've learned a lot about me and others from the feedback. It is what has helped me focus, helped figure out my mind set and face my demons on this life changing journey.

Thank you, everyone! I like to write things on my journal so I can find them again. The problem is searching through my journal pages to find something. I have learned so much from everyone here. I am still learning and still tweaking my menu and my exercise and my attitude. Good luck to all of you!

Write as little or as much as you want. I just like knowing that you are still here and sharing your journey with us. Plus, I benefit from some of the research you share. J

Go ahead and say what you want to say. I have a chart too because I need to convert ounces into grams and visa versa. It doesn't always have to be diet related, we answer to almost anything. I was really saddened by the loss of Robin Williams. How can anyone so funny and happy to all, be so depressed he had to kill himself?

I have a little digital scale which is great for me. I found out 1 tsp is 1/3 of a tablespoon atleast that is one site info. I've been using 1/2 tsp is 1 tbsp. Should of listened better in school.
