A very small change, but still downwards.

On Tuesday, after a lot of exercise, I felt faint and light-headed and had to end my training session early. It turns out that my blood pressure is at the low end of normal, after having been high for years. My weight loss has affected my overall pressure, and I've been having dizzy spells once in a while recently. So I've had a change in one of the two drugs I'm taking to control my hypertension. A lowering of the dosage. Let's see how that works.

221.6 lb Lost so far: 115.4 lb.    Still to go: 53.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Glad you got the meds changed, now you know to be aware of things like that, and keep an eye open for any other med changes. Its great that you are on a lesser dosage, keep this up and you may be off altogether soon. You have done a fabulous job. Congrats

Well I think that's good news that you have to adjust the medication! I know a few people that have lost weight and then go off their high blood pressure meds because being at a healthy weight made the high blood pressure go away!

I'll be seeing my physician for my annual physical in August. I expect that she will want to adjust my blood pressure medication again then.
