I went for a walk at lunch time with the group of women who always do this. It was my first time, and I went with the slower-not so far group, but I went! This is such an accomplishment for me. Six weeks ago I had to sit down if I walked down the hall.
215.2 lb Lost so far: 9.8 lb.    Still to go: 85.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Thanks Lisa and 2 Big 2 Fail. The weight loss is one thing that is important to me, but regaining my mobility is so much more... They are related, of course. Little things like being able to bring the groceries in myself, instead of relying on family, or being able to stand to cut up veggies at the counter rather than having to do all of my cooking and prep work sitting down really are life changing. Nine pounds gone didn't do that--there are other health issues that are resolving, but wow it really feels good.

Just checking in to see how you are doing. I was away on vacation and not tracking my diet or exercise. Am home now and getting back on track! I keep telling myself it's a life style not a diet! Hope the weeks have been kind to you!

I have some sort of stomach virus and have been really sick and in pain for almost a week. I finally went to my doctor to try to get it sorted and she gave me a medication for the stomach cramps, a recommendation for a sugar free rehydrating liquid, and some extra strength kaopectate. Apparently this can last up to a month. I have not been eating enough because putting anything in my stomach starts the cycle of pain/poops. I have also not been able to walk very far from the toilet, so my exercise is really limited. Aren't you glad you asked, LOL. Really, I do appreciate your checking in!

Hope you are feeling better! I think as I would start to feel better I would gravitate towards comfort food. My motto is everything in moderation! Be well!
