I can't believe that over the last two months I've gained back almost all of the weight I had lost. I'm just really disappointed in myself, but I do understand and see that I am really struggling to find balance in my life. The nonstop barrage of stress that I face is taking it's toll on me and I need to make taking care of myself a priority.

I'm so fortunate to have Dave in my life and two such wonderful boys. They don't care what size I am... but I do. And the fact that I just bought a size 6 wedding dress means that I need to get back on track.

I just wish I knew how to manage things a little better. Instead of restricting down to 1200 calories now to lose weight - which isn't something that I can maintain - I wish I could do something more moderate and just lose more slowly. I can't seem to find a happy medium. I'm either depriving and obsessed or gorging on anything that I want and not exercising at all.

So for now I'll go back to the 1200 calorie diet - because I know that it works and I'll lose weight this week. For right now, I'm going to hit the treadmill because it's raining outside... but I really want to just go back to bed, relax, and listen to the rain hit the roof.
150.0 lb Lost so far: 4.0 lb.    Still to go: 18.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
