Annabelle3117's Journal, 17 July 2014

Good morning everyone! Holy guacamole, right?! I was talking to my husband last night about how I haven't weighed in since last week but my pants were feeling super big on me. Woke up this morning and decided to weigh-in and whoa... I stepped on that thing three times to make sure it wasn't a glitch. Haven't had a drop like that since 2013, I'm pretty sure of it. I have no specific reason for it, guess my body was just ready to let go of it, and I won't complain about that!

Still haven't gotten those miles, but WAIT, I'm going to the gym at nine lol. With only my two heathens I can drop them off in tot watch and go log the miles. I think I'll do some combo of running and biking. Later on I will be busy with homework, studying and mom duties. Class at 5. Thank god it's the last class day of the week, sooo ready for the weekend!!

So it had be brought to my attention via comment chit chat that I eat almost no fresh fruits or veggies. I focus on carbs/proteins/fats so I guess all the good stuff was pushed to the side. I'm not a rich woman but I'm sure I can find a way to add at least one fresh fruit and veggie in per day. Even if it's the same fruit and veg all week lol. I also don't supplement, always been back and forth about that. Perhaps I should. Weight loss is the name of the game, but the overall goal is good health. I'll try to improve where I can.

Almost forgot the most important win of the day...*drumroll* with my loss my BMI has finally dropped from the obese category to the overweight category. So stoked to be overweight!! Especially since I started in the morbidly obese category. It's a great day!!

Hope all is well with my fatsecret friends :) Have a wonderful day!!

Love the drop! You're an amazing woman! As for the fruits and veggies, watch for sales. A lot of times you can find good deals. I've been going to Sam's Club to buy some of our fruit because it's much cheaper and really the quality seems pretty good, and even if I have to buy more than we'll eat I can freeze what I know we won't use and have it for smoothies or just a snack later. You can get those fruits and veggies in and stay within budget. :)
