Burnt out!!! Didn't work out Saturday to Tuesday. (Went out of town for a little getaway/vacation with my family.) Did a morning workout yesterday, but no evening workout. Worked out twice today, but almost didn't. Told myself I could walk on the treadmill for 15 minutes tonight, but pushed myself to do 25 minutes instead. I think I probably could have gone the full 43 minutes; but I'm just too lazy too. I really just wanted to go to bed without working out. Husband told me that I should have since I already worked out today. Said I didn't need to kill myself and push myself too hard; since I AM trying to breastfeed exclusively. But I feel like I have to since I'm trying to get down to my ideal weight. I already know I won't be able to get there by the time I visit my family in July; but I really really want to! :( It's so frustrating that I can't get there fast enough. That's why I've been trying to workout twice a day, 5 days a week. I'm just tired of doing the same thing everyday. Especially the evening treadmill workouts. I just don't know what else I can do to get there quicker. Besides the 25-30 minute video I do during the day, I feel like I have to do a full 43 minute workout at night to get to my goal weight; but I just don't always have the motivation to walk that long every single evening. Any suggestions? And do I really need to workout for that long in my second workout in order to reach my goal? Help!

Wow you are working hard. IMHO too hard. Lets see.. You are breast feeding, not getting sleep and taking care of little ones..that is a lot of stress. Exercise is supposed to help you feel better and healthier. Just a gentle hint, but maybe you are too focused on the scale? If you are working to fit into ripe pregnancy c.othes, I would do T-Tapp videos or calanetics. They work fast and don't take to much time. Cardio with music you enjoy can be fun, but at this point, you might not need another should. Minot sure if I would have taken this advice 15 years ago., but that is all Mam t Tina has. Be good to yourself, be good to your family.

Oh another thing I forgot is that most woe n will not get prepregnancy shape and weight back until their hormones stabilize after they are done breast feeding.

Thanks TinaGis. I know I'm definitely way too focused on the scale; but looking at my clothes (knowing what size they are) isn't helping me either. lol It's really hard to accept the fact that I won't be able to get into my prepregnancy shape/size for a while (or ever again)---especially when I see these fitness models who have kids. All I think is: "Why can't I get that lean and fit?" I'm obviously not doing the right exercises or eating as strictly as they are....but it's hard to do when the rest of your family doesn't need to worry about that. But thank you for your comments. I appreciate your suggestions. :)

Hey , I don't think fitness models breast feed their kids. They also usually have a mini tummy tuck when they have kids so there is little down time. You probably can get back to your prepregnancy size , but it,a not be until you are done breast feeding. Those DVDs : Callantics, and T-tapp are known for changing a person's size quickly. Doing one of those daily and eating healthy but moderately(maintaining your weight) will get you down a size in a month or less. I don't know why they work so well. But read the reviews... It is just amazing. The Callanetics Am/Pm takes 40 min total, and you can do itall in the am if you want,t-tapp takes 15 minutes( I don't have as much experience or knowledge with this one but I've heard great things. Check out amazon for the reviews pf Callanetics . It is. Ot just me who loves them! It is dated , but you will be down a size in a month . Anyway that is what I would reccomend, so that you can just take really good care of yourself. You could spend the evening workout time doing something fun for yourself. Maybe something creative? Hope I wasn't too bossy. Take care !
