LISfifty's Journal, 10 June 2014

Today begins week 3. Thankful for another small movement on the scale. I believe that one key to permanent success is planning. Get to sleep early enough to get 8 hours (adequate sleep regulates weight) in and yet be up early enough to exercise. This week I will work on the bedtime. If I can get to sleep I won't have to control that pesky night time snacking. Also now taking a thermos of water with me when I run errands to get my 64 oz in and avoid feeling hungry. Have a great week 3 everyone!

That is great, as long as it is going down, no matter how slow it is progress. I am on the Atkins plan and my first weigh in after 2 weeks was 13.8 lbs I decided to stay on the induction for another 2 weeks and now my weigh in is Monday so I am scared but anxious to see the results...I use to have a hard time falling asleep but since on Atkins I sleep like a baby and am up bright and early..no foggy head all day...I try to get to bed no later than 10:30... I am amazed at how I do not crave sweet anymore or even want to snack.. Good luck with your progress, have a great weekend...

You are suppose to but I slack every now and then, I will check list what I am eating periodically to stay on track... I weigh in on Monday so I will see what my results are and how I have progressed with adding the 2 more weeks of Induction that I did....I was on weight watchers a few years back, approx. 5 or 6 and fell off the wagon although I did lose weight on it and should of stayed there.... But with a husband who likes food and also eat out I just fell to the perils of temptation too... But not putting blame on anyone it was my doing and now am committed to me and will succeed....I choose Atkins as my friend told me about it and she had lost 5o+ pounds on it and found it easy to manage... So I have committed myself to it and so far it is not hard to keep.. We will see Monday what I have achieved so far..lets hope it is GOOD! I wish you luck on your Weight watchers plan... :D
