ROFL!!! Yeah! Nooooo!!! So in a week I've gained 4 pounds? Not likely. I think it's DOMS. My legs are killing me. BF measurement by caliper is still 16%. Everything I've eaten I've logged. Remember my goal was to keep it under 180 to the end of May? Well, apparently my body decided that meant 'kick it up for June1'. End of May weight 178.8. 1st of June weight 180.6. WOW! How does it do that? I guess my body wants me to understand the pain and frustration of going back to losing fat so it kicked me in the teeth. C'est la guerre.

Here are some interesting things I ran across while studying anatomy for the professional reflexologist level. It's the level required to work in the medical system in the UK. No, I'm in Canada. Nothing wrong with striving for excellence though. Don't let this gross you out or knock you down.

Typical time spans food and chyme are in the various organs: (Chyme, prounounced kime, is what food is called once it passes from the stomach into the other organs of the digestive chain.)
Esophagus: 1- 6 seconds for fluids — 30 to 60 seconds for food.
Stomach: 4 hours
Small intestine: 7- 9 hours
Large intestine: 25 – 30 hours
Bowel/rectum: 30 – 120 hours

I'll be offline for about 24 hours. Doing a little camping. Taking just enough food to hit my calories. Already planned and logged.

It's been a while since I suggested a song, so here it it. Ain't no rest for the wicked ~ Cage the Elephant. Right click to open a new window. Ain't no rest for the wicked - Cage the Elephant Headphones or good speakers required or you'll miss the bass. Such a strange little song. If you like to dance... this is the one.

I don't want to think of that. Very scary.

Well, that is one way to stay on plan, go somewhere you don't have access to a lot of food. That little bit of weight will drop off very quickly.

Rest, drink water, eat bananas and above all, don't panic. Give yourself 2-3 days off and watch the scale plummet.

Have fun camping! And, love this group, but don't seem to have this song (have their Melophobia album). So, thanks for the new song!

Thanks rocker. My students keep me up to date. I enjoy figuring out songs that that have asked to learn. Everyone learns easier if they love what they're working on.
