My little monster is still doing well. Grow, sourdough starter, grow!

Finding that I'm growing apprehensive as the end of this 'bulk' approaches. Somewhere in the back of my mind is still this idea that if I don't stay diligent, the weight will come back on. I know in my heart it's true as well. I've been through that before, and it was as hard the second time as it was the first. Here's to due diligence.

“Laws and principles are not for the times when there is no temptation: they are for such moments as this, when body and soul rise in mutiny against their rigour ... If at my convenience I might break them, what would be their worth?”

I think the difference is that this time you are in "full control" of the gains and can stop at any time you wish. It’s not like you are eating whatever you want when you want. You are being calculated and deliberate. You will be able to achieve whatever you want with the careful monitoring and analyzing that you are doing these days. It’s inspirational I tell ya!

Have fun and enjoy this time. You are where so many of us are ready to be. In maintenance mode and actually seeking gains in the form of lean muscle mass. The day I even begin thinking of something so new I will freak out too. Continue to forge ahead with confidence. You are in control of this journey.

I'd be nervous about it, too, but if anyone can do it, you can! :-)

NM, you are doing great! At the place where you feel is right. Enjoy yourself. If you get out of line, you will know it and quickly return to this point.
