Yay!!! Looks like I caught something!

I should add that I have discovered something. The people who drop off the board seem to be people who don't log their food or log very inconsistently. Log your foods people. It's a reason to be here.

If you think about it, it is a lot of work. The statement of keeping us honest is true. If you want to lose it you've got to utilize a system of keeping track of what you eat. Memory just doesn't work. Nor does eating the same thing day after day.

I have the app on my phone and record everything I eat right after I do so that's hat works for me, don't know how it will work when I go back to my old school though where we aren't allowed to have our phones. maybe a small notebook could work? It's easy to forget about logging in if you don't do it regularly but I've found that once it becomes a habbit it's pretty easy to stay on track :)

Hey ByeByeCookies, try entering your planned meals and snacks in the morning before you leave the house, then you can just make minor adjustments for "reality" when you get home. Plus, entering it early lets you see the impact of what you eat while you still have time to decide to do differently.

the problem with that is that I live in a boarding school and can't predict what's for lunch, but I guess it could work for when I go back to my old school because they give us a meal plan, nice idea thanks :)

ByeByeCookies, I am sure you will be thrilled to know that even though you don't receive a meal plan from your boarding school they DO have one. There isn't an adult working in education today who wouldn't want to assist a young woman trying to treat her body with love and respect. Just ask, you will receive...and if through some strange abuse of power they refuse to hook you up with that info just holla at your friends on FS. Mutiny would look like a cake walk compared to the public outcry they would be at the tail end of...just sayin'

i guess so, but I don't really know whom to ask as I know the kitchen staff has no idea of the menu, they just cook up the stuff they get. Also thankfully this school allows me to use my phone so keeping track of my diet isn't a huge issue here but if they forbid our phones here too I'd have to ask around (although I wouldn't want to go as far as causing a public outcry, I don't hate my school that much :D). Thank you for the support, I really really appreciate it :)

LOL...public outcry was just a funny euphemism for "oh no they didn't!" Just ask whoever makes sure you are tucked in at night.

:D I know I know I just have a lot of friends that are too serious about this kind of stuff. I asked Mr.K and he has no clue :c

2 hour hike. I was curious. FS says 880 calories. It likely was. It involved climbing over and under deadfall. Free deficit. :)

880 calories and enjoying the scenery. That's nice and a great burn. Back to tracking tomorrow. No Breyers ;)

I try to log every day even though I am at maintenance. It's how I keep myself accountable to myself.

I agree SK. Logging maintenance is at least as important and when losing weight. Calories are tricky little things.

I log my foods on a 3x5 index card throughout the day. I just keep it in my pocket or purse, and when I get to the computer later in the day, I log in at FS. If I ever get a smart phone, that would be so easy to come to FS. :D
