I weighed myself on my grandaughter's scales at the beginning of the week according to her scales I had put 4lbs on, so I was pleasantly surprised to find I'd actually lost 1lb when i weighed myself on my scales. Grandaughter's scales are those digital ones, mine are the old fashioned sort with a dial showing your weight.
162.0 lb Lost so far: 14.0 lb.    Still to go: 8.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 0.7 lb a week

It's important to pick one scale as your "official" scale and stick with that one to gauge your weight loss. Scales are all calibrated differently so you can weigh something different on each one. They should be within a few pounds of each other though. The flooring a scale is on can also affect the scale (should be a hard level surface).

Hi Suzi, yes I knew all of the above but I thought I'd just hop on grandaughter's scales while I was visiting- just goes to show that you should stick to the same set of scales while you're watching what you eat.
