Well, I didn't keep my calories as low as I intended yesterday. What happened? It was a gorgeous spring day. I'm standing in the kitchen with Mr Coco and we both hear that familiar summer song, Scott Joplin's "The Entertainer" wafting down the street. So I had to grab a couple of bucks and sprint to catch the popsicle man. Lost a flip-flop along the way, but I made it. A Dreamsicle is only 100 calories. Mostly in the sugar I guess. So I don't feel that guilty.

Tonight I'm going to my friend's for our usual BBQ nite. I do NOT want to cave in to a pork plate. That's a literal recipe for disaster for me. So I need to rehearse ordering a chicken plate with veggies.

I had a great walk yesterday. Went up the mountain road. I'm adding some jogging and short bursts of sprinting. And it gets easier every time. I can't believe how maybe 5 yrs ago I couldn't have walked up half-a-block of that road without wheezing and stopping for a break.
157.8 lb Lost so far: 54.2 lb.    Still to go: 7.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

We're turning back the clock coco, enjoy your chicken veggie plate this evening. Keeping our balance is key right now as it will help us as we reach our 80's. TOWANDA!!!!
