I think the scale is trying to tell me something...
BTW Easter is the worst holiday for me. Too much chocolate and goodies around! Damn PEEPS!
Hate the things after too many...but bring back so many good memories of my parents that I have to have them.

I can't stand peeps. Too sugary and stick to teeth. Yuck! Now chocolate, on the other hand, will get me EVERY time.

K, would you consider giving up refined sugar for the entire rest of the month of April as an experiment? I tried it for September and survived, then I made it through October and even Halloween. Next thing I knew, it was Christmas, and so on. Now it's been over 6 months, and I honestly don't miss it. But I'm not even asking you to do that. Just to survive Easter, would you consider abstaining from any refined sugar and only have fruit for sweets?

ummmm...chocolates....sorry what did you say? haha. We are all with you on that temptation. Don't hate them. They are delicious...we just have to accept that we can only have a few indulgences and to LOG them to know where we stand. That's what I lost about logging. You can have to good things too if they fit your daily needs. You can do it!

I'm dumping the Peeps this year but WILL plan on a marshmallow egg -- bank on that, Sisters. I'll give up meat that Sunday...yeah...that's it! MuHaHaHa (My diabolical laughter) :D

Chocolate.... yum! I've found a couple weight watched chocolate snacks that take care of my craving. Easter is such a temptation. Hand in there. A treat is fine, just don't go to excess. Might be worth walking a mile just to eat that peep!

Not gaining with all the goodies around is pretty good in my book. I have not allowed myself to buy any of them this year because I have no willpower against them. Keep up the good work! We're all here for you.

I have succumbed to chocolate, peeps and malted milk eggs this season. :( I survived Christmas just fine...this holiday though is the pits. I can't allow marshmallow chocolate eggs to cross the threshold into the house. No way that I can go sugarless. That and salt are my nemesis. I have a box of purple peep bunnies on the table in front of my recliner. I have a bag of miniature Hershey bars on the table to my side and malted milk eggs in my lunch bag for work. I am a EASTERaholic and I need help!!! I am hereby vowing that since I have a doctor appointment at 9 am on April 30th...that another one of these products will touch my lips. They are all going to be locked up somewhere in my house until I can give them to my 14 year old on Easter morning! (she also has two chocolate bunnies waiting for her as well) I can do this! I think I better go home today and go out for a walk or a run....yeah that will do it...then tomorrow I have to go to church to put out the palm branches for Palm Sunday. If I am away from it I can't eat it. DAVE (therealdave on here)....my lovely HUBBY you have to make me do this!!!! Save me from myself!!!

Chocolate peanut butter eggs and Cadbury creme eggs...I cant resist them, and I am avoiding them at ALL COST.

Why oh why does this holiday have to be soooo hard. Maybe because next Friday I will have been working on this for a year. My resolve is not as strong as it was. It should be stronger. I have had relative success in that year. At most I think I was down 52 pounds. then life happened and now I am sitting at 47lbs down. I can do this...and those damn Easter Candies better watch out! You will NOT defeat me! As kclab mentioned...I have NOT gone up while eating the junk. I just need to kicker down and push through back down that additional 5lbs again! That should be possible in 19 days right? That is about .25 lbs everyday. A little under two pounds a week. I have done it most of my journey. I can get back to that. I will even push it further and make my goal to be under 240lbs when I see that doctor on April 30th! I didn't weigh myself for so many years that I don't even know when I last weighed that. I am guessing it has been my youngest child's entire life...and she is 14. I will have to ask the doctor when I see him. So here we go...I have 8lbs to lose in 19 days!!!! because I want to be saying goodbye to that #4 middle number! It will take a 3lb loss every week....wish me luck!!!

Why do they have to make the candy so appealing? During the rest of the year I can walk right by, but you shape that candy into an egg or make it pastel color and it becomes much more tempting to me. You are doing great, don't let those evil peeps get you down!

I dont know how I'm doing it but I have not gotten into any candy this whole time! I guess I know that's how I got here. I was a teacher and had a candy drawer, when things were tense you just grab and eat, which I did more than anyone would think to.

It's my hope and not saying for sure, but want to stay true to my eating until Easter and will take the day off. Doing Little Italy with a stop at an Italian pastry shop. As long as no one brings the Cadbury eggs into the house. My Easter weakness.

I know, huh? I'm not a real candy-eater either and I detest colored marshmallows (it's just wrong). But come April, bring on the pastel Peeps and marshmallow dipped in Magic Shell!! (LOL)!
