10.8%

Eeks. I am feeling the wrath of chocolate cake. I knew it was only a matter of time until it really caught up with me. Let this be a lesson to those that read this and myself - cheat meal is a "meal" not a consecutive day thing. Birthdays and celebrations definitely are contributing factors but ultimately I am held accountable for what is eaten. I can have the greatest workout in the world and have an amazing cardio but ultimately it is what happens outside of the gym, that truly counts.

Fun Fact of the Day: Genetic predisposition and factors control about 40% of our body makeup and how are body adapts to stresses. The remaining 60% is in our control. That means we control the majority of how our bodies are affected by metabolic diseases and stresses.

Enjoy your day people!

How is your body fat climbing up so much after only a few days?! What are you using to measure it with...? I can't stop thinking about chocolate cake now! Way to go, Gerdik...jeez. [Kidding, I'm not that mad at ya ;) ] Ooh that is indeed a fun fact! I would have thought genetic predisposition would have controlled at least 75% Hope you have a Happy Wednesday!

@ Bonita - It doesn't do me any good either when I helped bake the cake, which means I have to at least try it =X. Thanks for the buddy add by the way!

@Tubbs - I know i know...sorry to keep bringing choco cake up! Yes the body fat has increased due to the excess calories but it's fine, just needed to vent. I use an Omron HBF-306C, handheld fat monitor every morning to check variance, I do not believe I am actually at that % but it is my way of keeping track until the next fat caliper test I do once a month. Thanks for the drop in and happy Wednesday!

Ooh, I loves me an Omron anything! I'm a huge fan of their body fat scale, so I'm not going tell you your handheld monitor sucks. Darn that cake! Do you own your own set of calipers, or do you go somewhere for them to take the test?

I own my own set but I don't like it. It's the one that "clicks". I have a fellow trainer at the gym that has spring loaded calipers and he takes a 3-point jackson pollack pinch test on me at the end of the month.
