Hey Everybody,

Sorry I haven't been here in a while. I've been keeping up with ya'll from my email notifications. Just haven't had time to post. Hubby's been having medical issues and it's kept me on my toes. First an ER visit the beginning of February for his heart. After alot of tests, we found he has Atrial Flutter. This is similar to A-fib, but not as bad. However, he still has to take medication everyday to stabilize his heartrate or it can cause heart damage. But it's better than what it could have been.
Second ER visit the end of February for extreme pain in his lower abdomen and nausea. I was so afraid it was appedencitis. Instead--kidney stones! He has 3 still in his kidney and 1 was stuck in a duct next to his bladder. This lodged stone was causing all the pain. Since then, he has thankfully passed the first one, but anxiously waiting for the other three to make their presence known. Right now he just has low-grade back pain, and a constant worry of when the pain will hit again.
So, this has taken up the majority of my time over the last 6 weeks. When I've not been busy worrying about him, I've had work issues and 2 wild boys. The crazy weather certainly didn't help any.
But anyway, I'm back! I've weighed in so that I'm accountable and I'm trying! Hopefully I can finally begin to see a difference.
Anyway, hope everybody's doing great. Talk to ya'll soon!

I am sorry that you are going through all this. Hopefully things will calm down and I completely understand how much pain your husband is in as I had kidney stones 9 years ago and had to have laser surgery to break them up twice and a stint to pass them. It was miserable. I also feel for you with crazy kids. As the weather warms up here mine are getting rambunctious. Spring break has sprung so hopefully I will do well and get through next week. Lol! Praying the rest of your year turns around for the better! Also glad to see you again. You have been missed. ;)

Wow, that's a lot to deal with! I hope your hubby passes the other stones and doesn't have any more trouble. At least with the heart it can be controlled with meds. I have to take meds for my heart too and it has made a huge difference in how I feel and I can definitely tell when I have been off of them for a couple of days. I hope life is back to normals for you soon!
