northernmusician's Journal, 12 March 2014

(7 day average 169 ^ .3) Okay. Starting to see a little movement here. I never thought I'd be pleased to see the up-tick, but I may be exactly where I want to be. It's still too early to tell. I was planning on bumping cals on Saturday if things hadn't changed. Well, they have changed, so I'll just stay the course for now. I feel like a blind man on a 20 foot wide sidewalk trying to stay in the center and I've been told if I deviate more than a foot either side I will lose a prize. Numbers are great. Being in control is great. Micro-managing can be a curse!

Perfect maintenance - your Way of Eating must be a Way of Life by now. Maybe you can ease up on the micro management just a little?

Chad... that's cruel. But made me laugh.

It would be cruel if I wasn't speaking from my own experience! Ha!

You're right. I do know I could never do what you and the others are doing. It's beyond comprehension. Just being able to continue losing a little more then maintaining along with healthy eating and exercise.

The more muscle we have, the harder it becomes to gain the weight back, between that, being healthy, and looking good in swim trunks, thats the reasoning behind the madness. A muscular physique looks healthier than really thin, or pleasantly plump. Once you see the fruits of your labor it lights a fire inside that refuses to go out!

Chad nailed it. It's not obsession... it's passion. I know he's doing the same thing. It's a bit of a game at this point. CR. I believe you could do whatever you choose. http://fatsecret.com/Default.aspx?pa=memnd&id=25641839 Everyone should go and have a look at the options you have as to how you will look at 10% body fat strong and 10% body fat without having some muscle. The choice is yours. (Okay. Ladies. You can't choose the body on the left... though you might.) ;) Thanks Rob. I'm so glad that I pushed so hard to cut those last few pounds. The perpetual weight loss diet drives me a little crazy.

The link above is from Kingkelds journal today. It's for the two 10% body fat photos.

gotta use the {url} {\url} (except use the regular brackets) code to make those work NM :)

Saw the photos. Know my body. I'm 62. Was over 100lbs. overweight. I'll never reclaim what I had in my 20's. If anyone has busted their ass working out and dieting, I have for over 2 years. The talk is that you can get back your body shape if you lose. I have. No complaints. It's the size of said body that is different. Even in the early days, I had a tiny belly. Most women do. And it made me crazy I couldn't get rid of it. I have to come to terms with my body as it is. It's not bad at all. Just that pouch of fat in front. New meditation... "let it go Kat".

Chad. I tried it with the box end brackets. What do you consider 'regular' brackets. :) CR. I understand and agree. At any age, there is only so much our genetics will allow. As we age, gravity just tries to ruin us. I've always thought the absolutely flat tummy on a woman was over-rated and a little less feminine.

Wow. I am impressed. 2nd time in a week. Beyond belief. A man understands. Sending you a cyber hug for that.

Is that for me, CR? I'd be happy to accept... and give back.
