Another 100 grams down. Great sleep overnight - yay! Just had a much needed shower. Am cold with no heating but there are people with no houses so I can't really complain.

Nuking some chicken for breakfast and am defrosting some fish for lunch.

We went for 3 long walks yesterday - was good to get out of the house, and it helped us miss a few aftershocks which is always a good thing LOL.

Nothing else new to report really. Please pray that we get our chimney/fireplace replaced before we get sick. Thanks!

Hi honey, glad you got some much needed sleep. Makes you feel energetic or it does me...Walking is another good thing I like to do. Hope you can have another good night sleep...Has any one come to see about your chimney? Have you a little heater to use? Love you too Bren! No one has even come to take down the remainder, let alone fixing it LOL. Tonight it will only be 3C - might be time to sleep in our clothes again LOL. Snuggling is ALWAYS good! Unless it is late and I am tired and he is not..... ROFL

Squuiggs, I am so glad that you got some sleep. Hope that you get some heat going soon. So sorry that your chimney hasn't been taken care of yet. I am still praying for you, your family, and your countrymen. Take care, and know that I love you, my friend!! And congrats on the weight loss, even if it is probably from stress. Keep safe, and be good to yourself.

Hey Squiggs - unbelieveable to see you haven't lost your sense of humor!!! That's gonna come in handy for sure! Do any of you have any heat? (fam or friends of yours). Perhaps your house could be shower central, while someone else's becomes the place to bunk out at night? (just a thought...to get you through). Praying for a quick fix to this problem - as it's only going to get colder, right? aren't you opposite the states...as in you are coming into winter as we are coming out? Much love to you and your family...we're all continuing to keep you in our prayers! Will pray for heat!!!

jsfantome - gotta keep laughing as it is hard to cry for two weeks solid... We will be fine, will just put on more and more clothes as it gets colder LOL. I wrote an email to the earthquake recovery people telling them I have asthma so hopefully that might push us up the ladder a bit. I wish we had enough money to rebuild/repair it ourselves, would be a lot less stress huh? I am thankful our house is still standing, that we have power and water (even if it is not drinkable) and can flush our toilet occassionally. I am thankful that it is the weekend and hubby is home. I am thankful we have an open porch to dry our clothes in on rainy days when undies are running out.. LOL

Hi Squiggs, I hope you get the replacements asap. Three walks sounds devine! And sleeping all night long, fabulous! You are in my thoughts and prayers.
