I got in to see the doctor yesterday, thank goodness. He told me what I've been thinking all along, what's causing my side pain is scar tissue. I've had surgery to fix a bowel issue and the scar tissue from the surgery and the issue itself is growing and starting to hit the nerve endings. Now I'm going to take a pill that helps calm the nerve endings down to help with the pain, and since everything is moving through my system okay no surgery. I'm so happy to finally have an answer and not feel crazy! I can deal with taking a pill every day.

I didn't eat well yesterday at all. I was on the road 3 hours total for my appointment and it was over the lunch hour so I stopped on my way home and grabbed McDonald's. I also snacked too much yesterday. Today it's back to the healthy eating. Luckily I've lost the pound that I gained last week. Now to lose the 4-5 pounds I gained over the holidays. :)

I did get a workout in yesterday, so at least I did something. Tonight I'm going to try to get a workout in after work. I forgot I have to work late, so I'm going to try to hold the hubby and kids off for at least 30 mins. so I can exercise.

I'm a little groggy from the new pill this morning, but feeling good and ready to move forward.

Wow, that's awful that you have the scar tissue , but like you said at least you know the cause. I hope that pill helps, does it work right away or will it take time to build up in your system? Good luck getting your workout in!

Thanks!! Biblioholic, they said the pill could take a little time to work, but I'm feeling a little better today, so I have hope.
