Dear Scale,

We talked about this. I explained how hard I've been working to make that kickass deficit every day, and you agreed to honestly log my progress. I know that you are a "smart" scale, that's why my husband insisted we buy you, and you're telling me that my body fat is down and that my muscle mass is up. That is GREAT news, but if I don't make it to one-derland soon, shit is going to get real. I will see you at the same time next week.

Sincerely,
Yolanda

Frustrated by the numbers. I have been riding the 203/204 train for two weeks now, despite all of my perfection, and that is frustrating. Of course saying 2 weeks out loud doesn't sound like as long as it's felt like. I have goals here, and time is a ticking! It's almost March, and I want to hit my one hundred pound loss before my birthday in April. *POUT* It doesn't really matter what I want though, it will be what it will be and all I can do is give it my absolute best effort... and pout lol. Still super proud of the amazing effort I'm putting forth, as well as sticking with my fitness and 5k training. I AM kicking ass, that number doesn't define me. Putting the scale behind me, and moving forward with the next seven days!

I went to the info session last night, and I've decided I'm going to go ahead and apply for the LPN program. Part time or full time is the hardest choice. I want to go full time and be done in one year. I won't be able to work during this time, but my husband insists he will make it work for us. Classes will be 8-4 M-F. That's a lot of course work. In case you didn't know though, I'm a genius lol. Okay, not really but I did graduate as the valedictorian of the Medical Assistant program, so I'm not concerned about being 'smart enough'. I just have to jump through their endless supply of hoops to hopefully get accepted into the program and start this summer. Thank you all for the lovely supportive comments and input <3

Today I have a lunch date with my step sister. We are going to outback steakhouse, and I'm super excited. I already have what I am going to order and eat planned out, all I have to do is stick with it. I just hope she doesn't put an appetizer in front of me. I am stronger than the urge to eat though, I've got this! While I was planning my meal I learned that the house salad is four hundred calories... before dressing!! That's insane!! Glad I did my research.

Since I will be busy at lunch I plan to head to the gym at nine after I drop Brayden off at preschool. I'll run home, shower and get pretty then go to lunch. Then I'll run around picking the kids up, then I'll go to work lol. Thank the sweet baby jesus... It's Friday bitches!! (that's not an insult to anyone, just a really popular line in a radio show out of MI that I listen to.. they even have a song for it lol)

It's going to be a busy day, this coupled with my workout should give me a great calorie burn by the end of the day and another wonderful deficit. Next week is my week, I can feel it lol.

Have a WONDERFUL day!!

I vote FULL TIME! It will be hard for a year. Probably the hardest year of your life, but you so can do this. Just look at everything you have accomplished already.

I wasn't "insulted" by your lyrical reference, just *stunned* it was used in the same sentence with "sweet baby jesus".

It's a big decision to go back to school, good for you! I'm sure you'll be an ass-kicking and ass-healing nurse. Lol. That's what I always tell my friend who's been nursing in Springfield for a little while now. Also, even with the dressing those steakhouse salads do seem outrageous. I was at a Texas Roadhouse a couple months ago and given that the salad tasted better than my entree and for almost the same calories... Wish I'd stopped with the salad. XP

I hope the scale makes good on your agreement soon! :) I am sure you are making good progress regardless of the meaningless numbers it spits at you. Good luck with school! Going back after a break can be difficult! It's Friday, BITCHES!!! :) :)

Maybe your scale has a thicker shell than mine - I found threatening mine just made it even meaner back to me, LOL. I think it was about this time last year when I had a dinner at the Outback and tried to encourage my grandson to order the bloomin' onion just so I could say 'well, it was there ... what was I to do' but he doesn't like onions so no 'instant plausible deniability of free will' for me to snack on. Congratulations on going to LPN school ~ you have a great future ahead for you.

Thank you all VERY much!! I am proud to report that I stuck to my outlined dinner plan 100%. There was that fleeting moment when Emily asked if I wanted an ap that I was like ehhhhhh..... no I'm good lol. With that behind me surely the rest of the day will be piece of, uh, broccoli? lol
