crabby Kat's Journal, 01 February 2014

I've been so busy getting ready for surgery, I haven't been on FS like I hoped to be. I haven't been recording so well, since I've been eating on the fly. Chicken and tofu sukiyaki isn't in the database, So I entered it as beef. No Moroccan chickpea pasty, so I recorded the beef one that is. I guess it's working out fine, my weight is good.

Yesterday, I got my hospital bed delivered & set up. Went to my final pre-op appointment, ate a pasty and cowboy cookie, then came home to put the memory foam topper on the bed, then made it up with brand new clean mattress pad, sheets, and comforter.

I knew Beau had accepted all the changes when I saw him curled up by the pillow on my new bed. :o)

I did hear him sliding of my raised toilet seat in the half bathroom early this morning; he's used to a nice seat cover on the lid. No lid on the raised toilet seat. I checked to make sure he was okay; my partner was grossed out by cat germs on the toilet seat. :oD

I'm going to Zumba tomorrow morning, last time for quite some time. I'm ready to get on with this!

Maybe you can replace the raised toilet seat to have one w/a lid so both Beau & your partner are trauma free. I can't remember a time around here when we didn't have Mushy hair in everything ~ it's like a staple now.

Ha! Putting a large paper grocery bag (folded) on the raised toilet set solved everyone's issues. No time for anything else; must be up at four am to take a shower with special soap, drive to the hospital. & check in by 5:30. Nighty night...later...

Sorry I missed your journal entry. I am sure the surgery is finished now and hope and pray that everything went well and that have a speedy recovery.
