Didn't win the trip to Hawaii either!!! But, we are also NOT responsible for taxes on the $6000 prize package and I only spent $20 at the casino so all in all I think we did win!!! LOL!!!

I have come to the conclusion, much to your surprise I am certain, that weekends and nights are too short and work days are too long!! I'm dragging this morning. And I woke up HUNGRY!!! But it seems much to early to actually eat my breakfast. It isn't even 4:30 am yet!! Guess I'll figure it out. Drink some water ... maybe that will stave off the hunger some.

Rain here now. Temps like Spring but this is much too early for Spring. Who knows ... maybe we'll finally get that early Spring!!!

Guess I better get my rear in gear. The dog wants to go outside to do his business. I need to decide what to start with in terms of exercise. Coffee is almost percolating. Fire is started. BIG YAWN!!!

This morning I am grateful for ...

1. feeling hungry
2. not losing a bunch of money at the casino
3. just slightly over three weeks until vacation
4. the smell of fresh coffee
5. inching back down to my weight range

and ... so off I go ... into the gray yonder ... ever mindful of the importance for me to practice kindness to myself. Be good to yourselves as well, and just think ... some of us are looking forward to a three-day weekend!!! Have a healthy day!!!
190.4 lb Lost so far: 68.8 lb.    Still to go: 5.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Good Morning! How nice to see you here so early and not have to sneak reading your journl..lol I am hungry this morning too but I too will wait. Am just leaving for work. Yahoo!!! SO close to the upcoming vacation! Excellent job not losing more money at the casino. hard to limit the amount you play with. Goota love those spring temps. I am so tired of winter this year!! So happy for the scale inching downward. That is truly something to be grateful for.

Sorry you didn't win the trip, but I also understand about paying the taxes on a prize like that! yikes! If I may stick my nose into your breakfast - not literally! eww! I don't think I would wait to have that breakfast - your body is telling you it is ready for more fuel. Even if it's only a small glass of juice, I think I'd give it something. My trainer has me drink 1/2 glass of prune juice (I know - collective yech!) within 15 minutes of getting out of bed so that my metabolism starts kicking. I think it's working. I've lost something the last few weeks - even with TOM thrown in there! But that's just my humble opinion! Have a great day! Enjoy that sunshine!

LOL Topaz!!! Before I read your comment I did exactly that!!! Couldn't wait ... I was much too hungry!!! It is funny some mornings I am not hungry others I am famished!!! I really do try to pay attention to my true hunger cues and honor them. It is one of the lessons I've have learned during this LONG journey!!! Thanks!!

Your better off not going to Hawaii - do you know how long that flight is?! Its like 18 hours - but thats from NJ, would probably be shorter for you, but still! LOL We had Spring temps here yesterday, but today, not so much! Have a good one lady!!

Afternoon Carol (it is here, almost 1 pm). I soooo understand about sometimes waking up hungry and sometimes not. We need to look at what we had for dinner and/or dessert and see if it held us over or left us starving in a few hours. I'm like Cathy, I fight it as long as possible cause the later breakfast is, the later lunch is, etc, etc. I have found oatmeal holds me very well in the morning. I use Vanilla Flavored Unsweetened 40 calorie Almond Breeze Almond Milk (1/2 cup with 1/4 cup water), 1/2 tsp Splenda brown sugar blend, and then add a few Crasins or Raisins. Tastes good, nice and hot and does the job for hours. Possibly use that as an evening snack? To ward off hunger in the early morning? Not too high in calories either if you use the right foods. Lower cal oatmeal, milk, etc. I note the dots on your weight history going down, down, down. I'm hoping for the same soon. Good for us, right? We ARE being good to ourselves. Gosh everybody is going away for vacation. Izzy, Cathy, you. Whine...... I want a vacation too. Just had 4 days off, but didn't go anywhere. I need to go away someplace for a week. Did I whine enough? LOL. Have a great day Moose and talk to you later.

I love your list (I usually do). Great job keeping sane at the casino! I always over indulged my expenses. I have kicked myself out of those places for life.

Ahhh I miss coffee! Haven't been able to stand the thought of it since I got pregnant lol. I miss caffeine! Drink some for me PLEASE Moose. :)

Chris I will definitely drink some coffee for you!!! Barb ... thanks for the breakfast tip ... I've been doing eggs and it seems to agree with me quite well!! I'm not concerned about the waking up hungry ... I figure I am a fine tuned machine and when I eat well and exercise I can then attend to my true hunger cues!! I always have healthy snacks on hand and am the sort of person who rarely goes more than a few hours without eating. I do LOVE oatmeal but usually only make it on weekends ... takes too much time!! LOL!!

Hmmmm 1.2 pounds since yesterday...that ideal weight range is looking more and more possible in my honest opinion...you are doing AWESOME!!! I am soooo happy for you...almost time to reset your goal again! You are BEAUTIFUL!!!
