Blustery weather here today!!! I debated whether or not to enter my weight today ... forever wondering about the daily vs. weekly weigh in. I decided to go ahead, since it doesn't really mean anything either way ... and it is kind of a habit at this point!!

Someone at work FINALLY said something to me about me having lost weight. I haven't been waiting with bated breath or anything but I wondered if anyone could tell. It was nice. But it is also nice not to have the pressure of people noticing and asking me "what have you been doing???" LOL!!! I smiled and said thank you. I know that the real trick is keeping it off ... not the losing of it!!

So ... onward I go ... must grab myself something to eat before I need to head out to the next home visit. It's a busy Monday ... which means before I know it I'll be back at home!! YEAH!!!!!

Congratulations on the compliment! It helps when others acknowledge our hard work and effort. Those compliments we pay ourselves count too - right? Right. Your chart looks like a beautiful escalator in downward motion! Keep the faith.

awww, it is always nice to receive compliments and you certainly deserve some for all your hard work! I know what you mean about the questions though. Last year, quite a few people had asked me if i was doing anything unsafe to lose the weight. Is it so hard to believe we can do it the old fashioned way?!? lol

Let's here it for people noticing!!! But also let's remember that the "pressure" of them noticing and asking should not be on us but on them....we should feel proud and happy about what we are doing and if that makes someone else uncomfortable or even unhappy that is their issue not ours. I have several overweight friends who will be "bothered" by my losses. Bothered mostly because they are not doing what it takes to lose weight and be healthy and my doing so points this out as nothing else can. Keep moving forward toward your goals and enjoy the journey. BTW: I do think most people are just complimenting to be nice and genuine not to add pressure.

I agree ... I think most compliments are sincerely intended. It isn't other's noticing that is the biggest motivator for me. It is how I feel about me, physically and emotionally. No one has told me yet that I have lost "too much" or been very inquisitive about "what" I am doing. I'm grateful for that. To each their own!! I will keep stepping along ... enjoying the journey and work on trying to avoid just focusing on the destination!!
