Well I gained this week, I don't know if it's muscle from all the exercising I'm doing or what. But one thing is for sure I might have gained two pounds but I fit in my clothes better. So I'm not going to give up for a minor set back. I'm just going to have to try even harder for next weeks weigh in.
254.0 lb Lost so far: 2.5 lb.    Still to go: 24.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 1.8 lb a week

Some people really do better monitering their measurements rather than their weight, especailly at first. Hang in there, you're doing the right things.

2 kids under the age of 2! You've got a handful! My kids are 24 and 21 now and I remember those days. I actually kind of miss them now (they're both in college) Kiss those kids everyday!!! Good thing you're taking care of yourself too!!!!

You have probably gained some muscle! I know that happens to me sometimes, escpecially if I've been lifting weights consistenly for a few weeks. I will look in the mirror and feel my clothes and be like "yeah, this is gonna be a good weigh in!" and then the number goes up. Just stick with it and remember that what you do today, doesn't show up for another two weeks.
