WOW ... 45 lbs lost. Unbelievable. That is 45 lbs. in 14 weeks. 83 lbs since my highest recorded weight but that was 5 years ago ... and I've been up and down since then.

I feel GREAT!!! I am very aware that I am at the place where I want to stay aware of my patterns, be able to let go of the worries of minor fluctuations and yet stay aware of where I am and what I am putting into my body. I'm actually excited about the prospect of maintenance. I do want to see my goal weight reached and yet I am feeling strangely calm about accepting that my body will find its comfortable weight and maintain there ... if I nurture it well.

This week has been a BIG loss week. They won't all be like this and that's okay. I'm going to practice this ... being okay ... feeling THIS day, THIS moment, HERE.

The weekend has arrived ... I've finished the ironing, now it is time to exercise, then shower, pack a few things and head off into our "goof off" anniversary weekend!!! I hope you all have a great weekend ... and I'll talk to you later!!
193.8 lb Lost so far: 65.4 lb.    Still to go: 8.8 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

I look at your weight loss chart and you are a constant source of encouragement and determination. And most importantly, you have touched base inside yourself so you know what you need to do. oh my goodness, your progress, attitude and words are so inspirational. You have come so far carol! I'm not only talking about these last 45 pounds. I am talking about every pound you have lost. I'm happy to hear that you feel great. You deserve to feel happy and healthy. You are all so kind!! Thanks so much!! It is difficult to believe that anyone could be "inspired" by my journey ... LOL!!! I feel like a DORK most of the time (tee hee!). At the same time I am feeling and behaving differently than I have in the past when I have lost weight. It isn't easy for me to stay in the moment but I'm working at it!! Thanks to all my friends at fatsecret ... it is your listening "ears" and encouraging voices that are supporting me on this journey.
