Not sure what's different except for the coconut oil replacing some other healthy calories. I had some last night with dinner & woke this A.M. almost 2 lbs lighter. I'm not saying this will always work but it appears to be for me over the past week since I started taking it consistently. We'll see how it goes over the next few weeks.

Can you explain the coconut oil? I have done some reading on it and is it ok to have. Have you seen the info on coconut palm sugar and how it reacts in your body with sugar levels? Check it out. It keeps them pretty much no spikes.

Coconut oil is a healthy fat. It is made up of MCT's (medium chain triglycerides). It breaks down and goes to the liver very quickly, where it is turned into energy. Now I'm paraphrasing things I've read about it. I've used for several years as a basic cooking oil because it holds up to high temps & is more stable. Checkout this site http://authoritynutrition.com/top-10-evidence-based-health-benefits-of-coconut-oil/ . Same with Avocado oils to an extent. Alot of people like to put a tblspn or so in their coffee as a way to ingest it. Using it as you would pam or other non stick sprays or oils works too. I've been just taking a tablespoon by spoon daily. Some days I have more when I cook with it. Taking it straight does give me a feeling of being full. Usually right after breakfast. It liquifies around 75 degrees. below that it is solid. That's why many mix it in with hot beverages or food. As far as sweeteners, I use Stevia. It works for me. I grow my own plants and often throw a sprig of it in my green juices or other vege juices that dont have the best flavor. works very well!
