oxdrover's Journal, 08 February 2011

Well, I guess I'm about back where I was before I left for Texas last month about this time. One pound a month isn't a fast weight loss, but at least I am not gaining a pound a month which is what I have done for quite a while now! So I'm headed in the right direction.

Learning to cook new dishes, new foods and finding out more about different spices and different ways to cook things. trying to eat better, more balanced, but do need to up the exercise more as well. That is my biggest challenge.

This morning fasting BS 121, 1 hour after eating breakfast (cherrios) was 136,

Wt 189 (lost a pound!)
no edema in feet or legs
BM-S/s
BP

The cherrios were not satisfying like the oat meal has been and didn't help my hunger at all, actually been hungry all morning, but did cook up some oatmeal for tomorrow. Eagerly awaiting Lunch time.
189.0 lb Lost so far: 29.0 lb.    Still to go: 39.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Losing is losing, and particularly difficult in winter. I have to tell you that I love that pic Oxdrover! I haven't seen a real ox in many moons. :-) Hmmm... I wonder where they've all gone to?
