I really think that switching it up as often as possible is a good thing. I think maybe you have to trick your body into not adjusting its metabolism. I ate a ton on Sunday but still lost more and going steadily down. Today I have been eating moderately, sensible, healthy. Tomorrow I am going to either do a protein day or a 500 calorie day. Then when I weigh again on Thursday AM I will see whether I was able to keep my loss. I don't care if I lose any more for a few days - just sustaining what I have done will be wonderful, and I am grateful! Then next week I will go for more loss - sort of stair-stepping downward HOPEFULLY. I feel really good - so much better than last month.

They say that about exercising your body. They say not to do the same routine every day--switch up your routine on the treadmill to lose weight. I found this to be true last year when I had lost a ton of weight.

Jill, it goes to show what actually works is often way different than what we were always taught. Thanks for the wonderful insight!
