I wanted to be back to normal weight on Christmas Eve, but I highly doubt that is going to happen...

I was going to be good yesterday, -I seem to be starting out my journals a lot with this excuse- but as I was watching the Michael Bublé's Christmas Special on Hulu my fiancé walks by as the Cookie Monster is chowing down on some cookies and he says, "oh man a cookie would be so good right now."

I love baking and will jump at any excuse to turn that oven on, so I hand him my recipe book for Yummy Tummy Desserts (yes that is actually it's title) and tell him whatever cookie he wants I'll make.

He chooses Spritz Cookies. :D I have never made them before, but I've had a cookie press for awhile that I never used. I made three groups of dough, because I'm prepared to mess up and I wanted multiple colors. :) Regular (white), mint (green) and cinnamon (red).

We figure out how to make the press work and after, what seemed like, hours of measuring, mixing, tasting, pressing, decorating, and baking we end up with three delicious batches of cookies!


It just stinks that I have to choose between having fun and making memories or loosing weight during the holiday season.
106.4 lb Lost so far: 8.2 lb.    Still to go: 4.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
