I have heard that taking body fat % after workout is not as accurate. No "scientific evidence" to back that up. I usually only note it in the morning, and of course just for trending purposes. Interesting information that your scale provides. Metabolic age and physique? Wonder what it uses for that. On another note, how the heck do you eat 4273 calories/day - I'm supposed to be eating 2000 and have yet to reach 1700 and that's with 2 high calorie protein shakes! Oh well, you are a dude!!

Just curious - but which model of the Tanita did you get?

Hey @Lynn, Bill has the Tanita BC533 Glass Innerscan Body Composition Monitor... Hey, Bill! Woo hoo!!! You're down to 14.9% fat! Ah, I know it's just messing with you. But I agree with NCNOLE, that thing I sent you also said not to do it too soon after working out (in the list that said "Things that can affect hydration"). It sounds like it would be tough to find the perfect time to do it. You might be best off to do it just before lunch or dinner on Saturday mornings, afternoons or something, after you've been up a number of hours, and some time has been given for breakfast to work itself through a bit. I have a cheap-o body composition scale, and I try to only look at it after a week or two. For that, it seems to give me a pretty good idea of how I'm doing. But like I told you, I just do it first thing in the morning (but at least it is consistent).

Both of you - Draglist and Rob - how sweet you are to get back to me so quickly. Wishing you and your families both a very Merry Christmas.

Hey Bill and Lynn... I wish you all the same! And hopefully none of us go too far off the cliff this holiday season. Lol! Have a great holiday!
