lol! Forgive the invasion of privacy but I was oogling your diet calendar and if I were you I would lower the carb intake to bust through your plateau. I didn't look at your individual food entries but I seen you had captain crunch for breakfast, if a lot of your carbs are simple carbs like the cereal that could def be the reason you're not losing. High blood sugar spikes promote fat storage, and also your body need not break into your fat stores if you have plenty of sugar readily available.. Try switching it up with high fiber complex carbs, I try to keep my carb intake around 150 or lower. Sometimes its not always calories in vs. calories out, sometimes its the type of calorie. Best of luck to you my friend!!

Thanks for the advice Yo! It's not an invasion of privacy... it's public information for a reason... For MANY YEARS prior to me trying to lose weight for good health reasons, I NEVER ate breakfast... I KNOW that is wrong, so now I at LEAST stoke the furnace in the morning. I make stoke it with too many sugars and carbs, but at least I am stoking it. Now that i have been eating unhealthy cereal for ~ 1 year now, maybe i can bring myself to eating a more healthy one to "stoke my furnace" in the morning... :) Thanks for your constructive criticism LOL

Agree with Yolanda. Instead of the cereal, have 1 or 2 scrambled eggs for breakfast and try to cut back on the fast food restaurant intake and pasta, rice, breads and sweets. Again I am not saying to get rid of that, but cut back in half. Eat more protein. Good Luck :)

I find that if I up my exercise in either intensity or frequency, I break through slowly. At any rate, I'm sure you are gonna break thru it soon!

Thanks EVERYONE for your "advice/tips"... maybe i'll try the scrambled eggs instead... It was a HUGE step for me even to EAT breakfast, so now it's time to refine the habit a bit... I'm still thankful for the 25# i've lost...

Eating breakfast is huge- I try to tell my friend the reason she is not losing is in part to skipping it. And eggs are a yummy start to the day! :)

You can eat light then have a snack an hour or so later. I went YEARS without breakfast, so it took some getting used to,to eat it..but now, i have turkey bacon and about an hour later, yogurt and chia, or a cheese stick and a V8..........that way, I'm stoking the furnace every few hours.

You might try just switching the brand of cereal to something with less sugar and more fibre. There is a really tasty fibre one cereal (can't remember the exact name of it and they have several now) that is not awful for you and then there is always the Special K Protein cereal. That could be just the small change that you will need
