I had hit the year mark after surgery and felt like I crossed a finish line. Unfortunately, it was just a mile marker on this marathon called life. Four months after the anniversary and I have not lost an ounce. I have also not gained an ounce! Feeling like a failure; but I know I am not! feeling pathetic, but I know I am not. Feeling defeated, yet I know I am not! Refocused, repurposed, reexamined, recharged! New goals: I see the surgeon again in 6 months. My weight will begin with a 2! I will participate in at least 1 5k walk or jog! and I will have a 2nd annual Concert: Satisfied Hunger 2: Party with a purpose!
I kicked flab in it's chunky rump, and it has stayed down on the map! The next stage in the battle begins!
