Two steps forward, one step back. Had a great week last week, losing 4 lbs in my first week of the year. But had too much wine Friday night, cheated a bit with 2 mini-cupcakes and another couple glasses of wine last night. Also didn't get enough water over the weekend. Getting back on track today.
146.3 lb Lost so far: 20.7 lb.    Still to go: 21.3 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Amazing how little it takes. A couple days back on program and this will just be a blip along the way down!

Helen, you'll get back on track. The cup cakes are a "no" but if you drink the wine you have to drink extra water. I had three glasses last night-not in a row, one with my girlfriend who came over for dinner while I was fixing dinner, one with dinner and one while watching Desperate Housewives. I did have to fast after 10PM so I had a lot of water before going to bed and during the night. I keep a water pitcher on my nightstand, a friend gave it to me, it's small clear glass pitcher that has a lid that turns into a glass. I feel like I'm in a B & B.

You are having a lot of stress lately too...just relax, put your face to the sun and move forward. You will be back at the losing game in no time at all.

You can do it, gotta get the carbs out of your system so they stop tempting you, you will overcome, think of that little black dress :)

Thanks, ladies. Somehow, keeping on track during the work week is a lot easier for me than dealing with the weekends. Have to focus on that this year, and I'll definitely drink more water when I drink wine.

Helen, same for me. I am better at it during the week b/c I am on the computer all day. I update diaries on my blackberry on the weekends, so I am not journaling, just entering food and exercise. Just so burned out by Friday and don't want to be on computer on the weekend. The times I slipped up, I try and add 10-15 minutes more cardio the next day.Your doing awesome Helen. :)

At least it's not 2 steps forward and 3 step back. Now that wouldn't be good. You are doing a great job. Keep it up.:)
