I stayed on Phase 1 for almost a month. I was excited by the progress I was making, and since I had gotten past the bad, craving part, it wasn't a sacrifice. I had to start back on some grains & bran to make my bod start functioning properly, and I have a couple of carbs a week, but I still am more strict than a traditional Phase 2. After reading others' comments and journals, I'm a little afraid to try to reintroduce anything else. I really need to lose the weight, and as long as I'm getting the nutrients I need, I think I'll stay on my personal version of the plan.
Congratulations on your success! I'd say stick with Phase 1 until it starts to feel too restrictive. Enjoy!
