Forgot to weigh-in last week, it was a crazy weekend. Dave spent Friday night into Saturday out at a hacker's meetup, while I went out with a couple coworkers for tacos and drinks. We finally got back together around 5 on Saturday and chilled out playing GTA: Liberty City. 10PM hits and he gets a call from his dad that he's stranded at exit along 80, about two hours from our apartment (keep in mind he lives six hours away from us) as his Magnum has died at the side of the road.
Dave, being the knight in shining armor always, heads out to see if he can help, considering dad's AAA ran out about two years ago.....he didn't come home til around 3AM.
Fast forward to Sunday, he's up and out by 1030 to go back out and help his dad once again (who spent the night in a hotel that Dave managed to tow the Magnum to using his Subaru).
Skip ahead once more to Monday morning at 645, when I finally see Dave again as he returns from running dad's vehicle to the local dealer to be repaired and running dad (and passenger of dad's female friend from the far right side of Ohio into the top of Michigan and back in one trip). Dad spent two nights on our couch after that, working with the dealership and insurance getting his car fixed (apparently Magnums are shit when it comes to overheating, and he'd been involved in a rear-ending the week before that killed the car).

I need to take Oni (my cat) to the vet today for her yearly vaccinations.
