madaboutmoose's Journal, 14 February 2009

I was surprised by the scale this morning. I didn't expect another drop so soon. There's the proof that there isn't really any understanding how our bodies hang onto or let go of pounds!! Tomorrow, completes 4 weeks on this latest journey. I find myself wanting to hurry the process and must remind myself that I am not really on a DIET that I am shifting the way I care for and nourish my body, changing my lifestyle. It is hard. I've done this nearly my entire adult life. It is so easy for me to slip into "lala land" and become unconscious about what I eat for a LONG time. So, I am hoping recording here will become so much of a habit that it will help me maintain and keep me honest with myself!! Wow, I'm verbose this morning!! Anyway ... Happy Valentines Day to all you sweethearts out there ... be good to yourselves!!!
