Busy day today! I took my kids to lunch and they chose Burger King, and I'm sure I could have chosen something better, but I didn't. I'm up a pound today too, but I'm sure it could have been worse. I've got my plan for the next 3 months, so now I just have to stick with it. I think at this point where it's already getting closer to the holidays, even if I can maintain my current weight I'll be happy. Maintaining seems to be what I'm doing these days, I'm up and down the same pound all the time, so maybe that's where I'm meant to be.

Today the kids and I got to go to the State Fair for a news conference because they named a new State mascot. We submitted a few names and one of the ones they came up with was chosen, so I'm excited they got to be part of the conference and got that experience. They loved it too, and I'm sure they'll remember it forever. But, then they had to go back to school and I had to go back to work, darn it. We all should have just played hookie and stayed at the Fair!

Tonight we have a meeting for orchestra, my daughter wants to play the viola, so we'll see what that's all about. Of course tonight my hubby is working early, so I have to go with just the kids and we'll be rushing to eat dinner before the meeting and get home in time for bed.

I hope tomorrow is a calmer day!!

Busy day is right! That is cool that one of the names the kids submitted was selected, that will be a great story to tell their kids! Maintaining isn't a bad thing! A lot of people say that is the hardest part.

I am told the last 10 pounds are the hardest to lose, but don't lose hope. When you least expect it they will come off too. Maybe right now your body just needs to adjust and then it will start going down again. Please don't give up. You have come so far.

Thanks!! I'm not going to lose hope, I'm going to just plan on maintaining and if I see a loss then I'll be happy and if not I won't stress. I'm just going to focus more on what I'm doing, than the scale, I seem to have more success that way.
