Amarok's Journal, 08 February 2009

Argh.. Dieting seems not to be helping. Well, I guess I could have done better... although in my defense I am currently in an intermitant biological phase that typically bumps up my weight temporarily. So I think if I can continue to stick to the program and avoid getting suckered into eating out (I did sub a salad with italian dressing for fries) or eating everyone's most excellent baking I should finally see a drop next week.

And I even brought healthy soup to a party where it was totally ignored by a bunch of people all of whom are trying to lose weight.

I should get exercise points for lugging it there and back though.. my arms still ache :D..

You Do get exercise points for lugging the Healthy soup to the party! To funny about the others opting for Party food instead of your soup. At the few parties I have been to lately I have found myself going for the Party food too:( I have been saying lately Oh just one. But those "just one" have been adding up. Thank you for your journal, I am going to make a pot of healthy soup today.

we generally have something on the go on both Friday and Saturday night... and the girls here bake these wonderful treats with icing and chocolate and everything good. I try to take the smallest one or cut half a piece... but its hard not to want to try one of every thing...... and that is where I seem to get into trouble.
