Slow and steady... I can't complain though, with no real exercise regimen and no real changes in diet/ food intake, my guess is that this is purely the result of calories burned through nursing and getting more sleep. I'll take it! I should be cleared to do exercise soon anyways, but I don't know when/ how I'll be able to implement that as part of my daily routine.

Admittedly I was kind of hoping/ expecting more of my pregnancy weight to effortlessly melt off, but half way to goal is still awesome, and I am losing weight somewhat effortlessly now still, albeit more slowly. It's just lazy, wishful thinking, so whatever, WHEN I reach my goal I know it will feel awesome because I know it won't be coincidental. I do HAVE TO work for this. However, it's worth it, it's attainable, and I'll get there eventually. If I can maintain this rate for the whole journey that means I am only half a year away from my goal. (I totally don't expect that by the way, but it's a good basic benchmark to go by. When I am more active I imagine I'll have weeks with bigger losses, and as I get closer to my final goal I will have smaller or no significant losses between any given two consecutive weeks. Yet this 1 lb/week might be a good overall average.) I've waited for other things much longer, this shouldn't be that bad. *feeling determined* :)
167.0 lb Lost so far: 5.0 lb.    Still to go: 37.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 1.0 lb a week

Good job!! I am a nursing mom too and love that losing is a little easier as a result. May God bless you on your weight loss journey! :)
