THIS IS MY 2 WEEK CHECK-UP!
INDUCTION WEEK 3: DAY 1 Finding it very easy to say no to sugars/carbs, a little more difficult re my salt consumption. After cutting back on sodium I noticed that all canned foods seem SOOO salty. But, due to my budget, I will need to finish up what I have purchased. I will just be sure to spread them out so that I won't eat a ton of salt at once. It is amazing how quick your tongue/brain can be changed to recognize extremes. (extremely salty/sweet)I had been eating so much salt before that no matter how much I added to my food, it was never salty enough for me. Now, I can really tell a difference and it is worth the effort to cut-back (not cut-out!)

FAT LOST: 8 LBS, in ketosis for 11/14 days

I have also decided to add 1/4 cup fresh organic cilantro and 1/4 cup fresh organic parsley to every salad I eat. This is supposed to help move out toxins released by fat loss. They say if you don't get rid of the toxic stuff, that it recirculates back into blood. Plus, it tastes great!

My water goal of 100-150 oz per day has fluctuated daily. I am no longer dehydrated at ALL. This goal has been good,for many parts & systems of my body...but, it really takes an effort to remember to drink water as I am rarely thirsty.
Long post...for 2 week check up.
242.0 lb Lost so far: 5.0 lb.    Still to go: 42.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

That was a very good journal entry. I am proud of you for sticking to your guns and having a good weigh-in. It is hard to give up salt. I found out something good today. I had to go to McDonalds again and this time Instead of ordering a premium salad,I asked them if I could have a side salad with a hunk of grilled chicken on top. I think those premium salads are way to big. Anyway they put is right through for me and it was only 6 carbs counting the dressing. It was good too. Anyway, you have a good weekend.
