Happy Monday everyone! :)
I haven't weighed in over a week until this morning. My goal was just to maintain thru the holiday. Looks like my plan worked. I am the same as pre holiday weigh in. Here is what I did:
1) Enter healthier versions of my recipes in my cookbook.
2) FOLLOW THE RECIPES...DO NOT "WING IT" DURING PREPARATION that is where extra calories creep in.
3) Decrease the calorie intake 3 days before and after the BIG DAY!
4) Continue with your normal water, vitamins, sleep and of course your exercise.

Christmas will be a bit different. Dinner at my parents x-mas eve then hubby and I are leaving x-mas day for our usual holiday vacation for 2 weeks.
256.0 lb Lost so far: 21.0 lb.    Still to go: 96.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Diet Calendar Entry for 29 November 2010:
1702 kcal Fat: 51.19g | Prot: 114.22g | Carb: 215.71g.   Breakfast: cheerios (1 c), grapes, Morning vitamins, Vanilla Soy Slender (1/2 c), Simply Smart Fat Free Half & Half (4 tbsp), coffee. Lunch: pear, water, pumpernickle roll, roasted green pepper, roasted red onions, zucchini, white beans, sesame oil, balsamic vinegar, edamame, roasted chicken, romaine. Dinner: winter squash, roasted turkey. Snacks/Other: almonds, atkins dark chocolate decadence bar. more...

Good Job Babs!! :D The healhier versions of recipes is a great way to go. ^.^ Sounds like Christmas is going to be fun. :) Where are yall going to vacation to? Some place warm?

Wow, what a great idea to plan so carefully like you did. That shows a real commitment! Christmas will be a challenge as well as your vacation following that, but if you plan in advance as well as you did for Thanksgiving, I am certain you will keep in control!

Fantastic - great plan and that you stuck to it. I am sure you can make a plan for dealing with your vacation too. Where are you going for vacation?

Way to go! With planning and an attitude like that you'll get thru Christmas too, especially knowing there's a vacation around the corner. Your on your way to a new you!

Great job! I love the idea of planning ahead. I don't cook for Thanksgiving myself these days but my hostess and I chatted for a week or two before hand and I knew which dishes were safe for me and which weren't. Best of luck for Christmas dining and have a lovely vacation!
