MommyDoc's Journal, 11 July 2013

I haven't been 100% faithful, I admit. My cheats have been small and infrequent, but they have been there. I am finding it hard to accept that dairy plays such a large role in my allergies, but I can't deny it. Cheese is such a favorite of mine--I can live without milk, ice cream, yogurt and all other forms of dairy, but I really do miss my cheese. I guess I am going to have to reserve it for an occasional spluge and KNOW it is going to stir up the allergies. I feel so much better overall though, even if the weight is not dropping.

Cheese is a tough one for me too. I've been substituting hummus and avocado. Pizza is my sworn enemy...sometimes I still have it, but I pay the price. I make the conscious decision to have it knowing full well that I will feel gross, get some zits, show a gain over the next week, and struggle to get back on track. You are not alone.

Thanks for that!!! With me it does stall my weight loss and makes my allergies unbearable!
