Man, the first week was hard. Some days easy, other days I wanted to gnaw on my arm while watching the clock until meal time.
But it did give me an opportunity to get back into this, since I did it (sorta) once before and it worked. Things I am remembering worked for me last time:
- Eat slowly. Really slowly. Put down the fork between every bite. - Try not to think about how hungry you are. Use distractions. - Spice it up! When you've only got a little food, really kick up the flavor to make what you've got special. - A diet isn't one choice, it's a thousand choices to eat the right thing. One bad choice won't negate the 999 good ones you've made, so don't get discouraged.
I'm sure I'll remember more later.
