Annabelle3117's Journal, 01 July 2013

Down forty-four pounds total, not exactly where I wanted to be right now but most certainly better than where I was last year at this time!! I knew that this weight loss thing was going to get frustrating at some point, as it turns out for me that part is getting out of the 40's! Going on vacation next Monday, and I desperately want to be in the thirties when I weigh in Monday morning. Consistency is the key to success, right!?
242.0 lb Lost so far: 44.0 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Thank you both for your encouragement!! I don't get many comments on my journal entries so this is a very pleasant surprise, it means a lot to me.

Great job!! A week's work to lose 2 pounds is a realistic goal in my opinion. Just be sure to avoid foods with a lot of sodium! :)

after your post on my journal I was looking at yours. Recently it came to my attention that I should be watching my sodium intake. Not trying to overstep...but I couldn't help but notice when looking at your food journal that your sodium intake seems like mine was...high. Watch what you are eating that is causing that. You could be retaining more than you need to with the amount of sodium. Possibly just something that may kick you down into the 30's sooner. Since I started watching I have only slipped up and gone over my threshold of 2000 per day a few times. It seems to be helping with my loss. Today was a bad day for me with that...I went over 3000. Won't do that again...will probably see it on the scale in the morning too!

I agree, but the scary thing is I haven't been using my food journal lately, and I've been a bit lenient with my food choices. I'm stoked that I can still eat these foods and maintain a slow loss, it gives me hope for being able to maintain my weight loss and still live a normal life after loss lol. But slow loss is not my goal right now so I really need to keep a closer eye on things. Thanks for your input!
