Hi command has cleared me for a night out with the guys. Made good progress this week so I'm going to enjoy it. Will be sure to follow my #1 rule though: Don't be stupid. It's tough sometimes...
205.6 lb Lost so far: 36.4 lb.    Still to go: 40.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

How about you tell yourself that you are going to enjoy things, have what you like, but whatever you do have, just have half. Then you won't feel like you denied yourself anything but you won't have gone totally overboard either.

The problem isn't going to be how much I eat, but rather how much I drink. Have set a limit of 3 alcoholic beverages for myself. After that it's NA. Will try and mix the NA drinks in rather than sprint to the limit and then try to stop while in that state.

ah, well a limit is good. See, the reason I don't indulge in the alcohol is because then I lose all focus on the food control....I have decided I'd much rather spend my calorie "budget" on food than alcohol...hence I make a better pig than a lush. LOL!!!

I think it should be fine. We're going out to a steak place tomorrow though. I may take your advice for that one. Get a few drinks in me and put me someplace where there's no food and I'll be fine. Give me a couple drinks and then put a menu in front of me and it's a disaster waiting to happen. Could be a bad weekend, but I'm feeling pretty confident that I can deal with this type of thing and then get back on the wagon and keep going.

I hope that is 3 - one liter mugs of beer! :) I am also exactly the same way, if I eat then drink then I am fine, if I eat and drink at the same time, it's like I have the ability to completely ignore the fact that I'm full. HAVE FUN!

Well, it did turn out to be about 3L of beer, but not in 3 mugs. Way too much. Will have to recalibrate my drinky meter for the weight I've lost. Did very well at dinner last night. Had grilled scallops and steamed broccoli. Decided to go for something healthy that I wouldn't normally make at home. I didn't feel deprived at all even with everyone else gorging on huge steaks all around me. The kids had deep fried corn dogs though which looked and smelled really tasty. I helped them out by having one little bite. I was good after that.

Saturday was good. I think the massive hangover probably actually helped.
