I am bumming dudes! GAINED A POUND! I hate posting a gain. However, I know it's because of my lapse in exercise intensity and allowance of certain foods to pass my lips-chocolate chip cookies and half a slice of pizza yesterday. I do a lot of baking this time of the year and succumbed to quality control taste testing last night. Husband brought pizza back from other side of the city-we never get over there and that's where the best pizza is... Feel sick and sick about it...At least I am shipping off last nights product today. Tomorrow I will have husband take those batches to the office so i am not tempted. Honestly, when the stuff is not around, I hardly think about it...

Okay, is it bad to ask where you got the pizza from?

Vito's on La Cienega. Not bad at all-we are pizza fiends!!!My only gripe is that the sauce has onion in it-I like just plain old plum tomatoes. The crust though is heaven-charred a bit, thin but not like a cracker. Very good. Here in Hermosa-I'll do a slice of Valentino's or in a pinch-a slice of Paisano's.

Don't beat yourself up over a pound gain. It is that time of year and we are all struggling. It is hard when you are baking and tempting items are right there calling your name. Hey... Im the one that has to have my hubby hide food from me... so you are going to be fine. I often think that some of my food addictions are like alcohol addiction.. I can't stop with just a couple almonds.. I would eat the whole bag!! You always get right back on track and that is what is really important. You ARE doing damage control and that is why you will win your battle with the scale.

It really is so hard to stay on track this time of year. I gained two lbs. from last week :( so don't feel bad. Just try to do your best through the holiday season then come January it's GO time! :)

Hey there lady, you'll get through it!! I love pizza too, and chocolate chip cookies, geez, you gave in to a temptation one day, who wouldn't!!! 1/2 slice of pizza is not something to beat yourself up about, it's something to pat yourself on the back about!! 1 lb could be nothing more than water. It'll be temporary and gone before you know it... Just get back on track and exercise a little extra today (stand on your tippy toes and flex the calves while doing dishes, or do it several times as if you were doing sets at the gym... may look silly, but, it's something :) The silly little moves are easy and what re really don't think about, but easy to do while no one is watching :) I also always park as far as I can from the entrance of every building. My family hates it, but I use the "door ding alley excuse" I work hard for my truck and don't want all the door dings.. :)

Holiday season tends to mess up normal routine. Once the routine comes back you'll be back on track, I'm sure. ((HUGS))
