The Blue Box's Journal, 26 May 2013

My fiancé, dog, and I went for a nice long hike yesterday. We packed some snacks and our lunches and we were out there for a good 3 hours. I think it was just what I needed to recharge my batteries. :D My dog had a great time too! It was nice to get out of the house and hideaway in nature for awhile.

The presentation on Friday wasn't as bad as I was making it out to be... people said I did a good job, but I can never tell if they are saying that to make me feel better or if they were being sincere...

Regardless, it's all in the past now. :)

Woo hoo! I have Monday off!! Tonight my fiancé and I are going out to get some sushi! 1/2 price after 5pm! I am so excited. I just watched Jiro Dreams of Sushi on Netflix and I am jonesing for some raw fish.

There was a flyer in the mail for an "Ah!thentic Italian Pizza" joint. I guess Marco's Pizza is opening a new location and for their grand opening they are giving away 100 free pizzas to the first 100 customers on Monday. That might be something to check out; can't beat free pizza! Hopefully I'll be able to beat the crowds. ;P
