Fluctuations. Glad to be bouncing down again though. It's almost a predictable pattern now.

What to fix for lunch and supper today... There's leftover ground sirloin, so maybe a flatout pizza for lunch. For supper, maybe something with black beans and the tomato/corn mix I made last night. Or breakfast for supper. Look at some frittata recipes.

Had to take Lil Kitty to the vet today to have his gimpy leg checked out. I hope it's just arthritis and not a tumor. Poor lil guy.

Isn't it amazing how healthy foods can taste so good and be so satisfying?

I think I'm going to make a frittata tonight too. Aw poor kitty. Hope (s)he is okay! My cats make a HUGE ordeal out of the vets. Hopefully yours is less stressed by it.

Thanks, buddies! I'm a work in progress, but I feel pretty good about making the right food choices 99% of the time these days. :) k8, my Lil Kitty is a big older male, kind of a grouch about going to the vet, but not too anxious, thank goodness. I just got the good news that it's not a tumor; he has a lumbar-sacral problem in his spine that should improve when the bones finally fuse together (arthritis). The vet said sometimes it has to get worse before it gets better. I'm so relieved it wasn't anything worse. Whew!

My male cat, Bill, (also big- 19 pounds!) is very sweet at home, but turns into a maniac at the vets. It's the only place I see him hiss and poof up. God, I love when cats get poofy. They look so silly :) When a 19 pounds cat gets poofy it's really a sight to see :) SO glad to hear your kitty is having nothing serious.

I love poofy cats too! It cracks my sh!t up. Lil Kitty however, can turn into Freddy Krueger when he gets too pissed off. He sent Mr Coco to the urgent care center when he sliced thru his jeans and tore up his leg. He saw another cat sitting on our window ledge and did this transferred aggression thing on Mr Coco's leg. It was scary!

Check my journal, I just posted a link to the funniest cat video I've seen in a long time :) It gets funnier the longer you watch it :)
