Yesterday started out great, lots of energy and enthusiasm. I got a ton of catchup done on the squat challenge, took a nice long 2.3 mile walk, got healthy groceries into the house, and went to tackle some more unpacking and cleaning.

And that's where the wheels came off. Just looking at how much I still need to do exhausted me. I was overwhelmed. I spent the rest of the day either napping or sitting at the computer, playing games and watching TV. I barely resisted the chocolate cravings, and the urge to have a few dozen stiff drinks. I can't keep falling apart like that! I have so much to do, and so little time to do it in that I can't waste a day. The longer I leave it, the more overwhelming it gets.

I wish I had the willpower to tackle more than one thing wrong with me at a time.
179.0 lb Lost so far: 11.0 lb.    Still to go: 19.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I hear that. Whenever I have a massive to-do list, I always kind of sink into hibernation. I find everything do to BUT the things on my list. I usually lose myself in Pinterest or something equally addicting. I'm still struggling with willpower and self-control, but I have a mantra-type-saying that helps to keep things in perspective for me - choose the right pain. There's the pain of doing it now, or the pain of doing it later. There's the pain of not eating that chocolate now, or the pain of dealing with the weight gain later. And so on and so forth. It doesn't always work, but it's helped me make smarter choices on occasion. Hope it helps you! You got this.
